FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in a controlled shunted reactor there are additional resistive resistances used in semi-neutrals of a network winding. A converter-inverter is connected via a transformer to a distribution device of a substation grid with increased output voltage at the DC side. Functions of control are distributed by converting units connected directly to a reactor and to a distribution device of a substation grid.
EFFECT: improved dynamic characteristics, prevention of a voltage avalanche effect, occurrence of overvoltages in an AC grid and reduced multiple effects at equipment insulation.
