FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method includes production of welded or forged flat hoe with fasteners elements. Hardening of the fore part and the wings of the hoe is carried out simultaneously from above and below. From above the hardening is carried out with induction welding by hard alloy of the fore part and the wings cutting edge of at least 1/3 of their length. From below the hardening is carried out with borating across the entire surface of the cutting edge with the strip of at least 3/4 of the width. Then hardening is carried out volumetric method in the hardening medium followed with cooling-down of the working element to the hardening temperature of the metal of which it is made. After cooling-down the deep drawing is carried out.
EFFECT: this technology enables to improve durability of the working element and to maintain its self-sharpening effect in the soil during the period of operation.
