FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in hardening and restoration of cultivator blades for various purposes. Cultivator blades cutting part hardening process is performed in two layers. First layer is obtained by applying on the surface of the cutting part of the blades containing particles of alloying metals, and then exposing it to laser radiation with formation of local fusion of said coating in form of strips or snake. Second layer is applied over the first layer by sputtering metal-ceramic particles.
EFFECT: sputtering of metal-ceramic layer on surface made with metals, having high hardness and deformation properties, reduces action of tangential stresses and reduces probability of microcracks formation in it, which ensures high adhesion strength and considerably longer service life of cultivator blade.
