FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to stabilised radiopharmaceutical compositions containing: an 18F-marked compound, an effective stabilising amount of gentianic acid or its salt with a biocompatible cation, and an aqueous biocompatible carrier medium. The 18F radioactive concentration in this carrier medium is found within the range of 10-100000 MBq/ml, while the pH value of the composition makes 4.0-9.5. The invention also refers to a method for preparing such radiopharmaceutical composition which involves mixing the 18F-marked compound in the biocompatible carrier medium and gentianic acid. What is also declared is the use of gentianic acid or its salt for stabilising said radiopharmaceutical composition for radiolytic decomposition.
EFFECT: invention provides preparing the high-stability radiopharmaceutical compositions.
