FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device intended for drying vegetable oil phosphatidic emulsions. Proposed apparatus comprises cylindrical casing with covers and heated walls provided with steam feed and discharge branch pipes arranged at casing top and bottom sections, branch pipes to feed initial product and to discharge finished product, disc-like separation baffle and separation chamber with branch pipe to remove gas-steam mix therefrom, perforated rotor fitted on half-axles inside said casing. Said rotor features star-like cross-section with star apices making rotor vanes. Note here that rotor edges are located parallel with generating line of cylindrical casing inner surface with invariable clearance. It differs from known designs in that rotor left end accommodates turbine wheel while second turbine wheel is arranged in extra rarefaction chamber in casing right section, downstream of separation chamber. Said extra rarefaction chamber has branch pipe to remove steam-gas mix arranged in rotor axis and tangential branch pipe to feed said mix into said chamber. Said branch pipe is communicated with that to remove steam-gas mix from separation chamber via fat-and-oil filter. Note also that branch pipe to feed initial product is located at casing center, on left end in rotor axis.
EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency, lower costs.
