FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to driers of vegetable oil phosphatidic emulsions and may be used in fat and oil industry, etc. Proposed apparatus comprises cylindrical body with cover furnished and heated jacket equipped with heat carrier feed and discharge pipes arranged at body top and bottom, pipes to feed initial product and to discharge finished product, plate-type separating baffle, separation ring and separation chamber with gas-vapor discharge pipe, and rotor with drive arranged inside the body to run on axles. Said rotor features star-like cross-section with apices making rotor vanes while rotor edges over rotor length are located parallel with generatrix of the body inner surface with invariable clearance. Said rotor is composed of three parts. First and last part feature rectangular edges of vanes while medium part has helical vanes. Impeller is fitted at rotor left end. Separation ring has screen arranged toward plate-type separating baffle, along central bore, at its top part and confined under rotor shaft. Lower part of separation ring is smoothly conjugated with trough with its width decreasing toward rotor shaft to terminate there above. Note also that branch pipe to feed initial product is located at casing center, on left end in rotor axis. Heated jacket is composed of semi-cylinders conjugated along helical line on body outer surface and communicated with heat carrier feed and discharge pipes mounted tangentially to said body at the end and beginning of rotor parts location zones with rectangular edges and communicated via circulation circuit and gas heater.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability, lower costs.
