DEVICE FOR MOISTURE REMOVAL FROM LIQUID HIGHLY MOIST THERMOLABILE EMULSIONS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B01D1/22

Abstract RU 2681041 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for carrying out the process of removing moisture from liquid highly moist thermolabile plant emulsions and can be used in food, oil and fat, paint and varnish and other industries that use moisture evaporation from heat-sensitive highly viscous liquid concentrates. Device for removing moisture from liquid high-moisture thermolabile emulsions contains a cylindrical body with lids, heated by walls, equipped with nozzles for supplying and discharging steam, located respectively in the upper and lower parts of the body, and nozzles for input of the initial and output of the finished product, disc-type separation braking device and a separating chamber equipped with a nozzle for connection to a vacuum system, placed inside the housing and mounted on shafts with disks through a perforated rotor with a star-shaped section, the tops of which are its blades, and its edges over their length are located parallel with generatrix of the body inner surface with invariable clearance., while the disk forming the right end of the rotor is made perforated. Rotor cavities, formed by the blades, are divided by the blade height by partitions, the lower part of which has a smooth rounded transition to the cylindrical part of the rotor and which divide the cavities of the perforated and solid parts of the rotor. Partition is installed inside a rotor cavity, which also separates the cavities of the perforated and solid parts of the rotor. Nozzles for input of the initial product are located in the area of the rotor blades in the upper and lower parts of the cover, located on the left end of the cylindrical body. Partitions located between the blades alternate through the cavity and spaced from each other along the length of the rotor with a uniform pitch. Clear opening of the rotor perforation increases in the direction of the placement of the separation chamber. Clear opening of the rotor perforation is smaller than the clear opening of the disk perforation forming the right end of the rotor.

EFFECT: uniform distribution of the product along the internal surface of the device, which leads to decrease in the dynamic effect on the drum drive and to a more stable movement of a product film along the length of the device, increasing the efficiency of separating a mixture of water vapor and particles of the finished product from the vapor jet and their smooth removal from the processing zone.
