FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology and may be used for prediction of a therapeutic effect of idiopathic macular rupture. Preoperative retinal light sensibility is evaluated by microperimetry, and structural values of macular retina are determined by optic coherent tomography. The preoperative examination data are introduced into classifying formulas to predict a probability of the expected anatomic and functional effect of the vitreoretinal surgery.
EFFECT: method enables accurate prediction of the anatomic and functional effect of the vitreoretinal surgery for treating idiopathic macular rupture.
