A therapeutic apparatus comprises a portable wet heat supply unit for heat supply to a skin surface and diathermy of deep muscles, accommodating a water steam generation section and a heat source, and a water steam - air adjustment section which comprises a water steam - air mixing layer and a water steam - air distribution layer and having a function to adjust the quantitative relations of water steam and air and enabling temperature adjustment of a dew point of mixed water steam - air. The water steam generation section and water steam - air adjustment section are flowing connected. The adjustment section has a latent heat passage surface adjoining said section and enabling wet heat supply in the pre-set temperature range with the upper threshold less than 43°C. Approximately 15% to approximately 95% of wet heat is latent condensation heat. What is disclosed is a portable wet heat supply unit.
