SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a wound dressing (1) for treating a wound in a humid environment, a package (10) for a wound dressing (12), a method for manufacturing a wound treatment product containing a wound dressing (1), and a kit for use in the treatment of wounds, containing a wound dressing (1). The wound dressing (1) contains a) an absorbent and rinsing part (2) treated from the manufacturer with a saline aqueous solution. The wound dressing includes b) flat material (3) of the substrate located on the side of the part (2) for absorption and washing, facing away from the wound, and which protrudes beyond the part (2) for absorption and washing in such a way that forms an edge, the surrounding part (2) for absorption and rinsing from all sides, which is provided on the side facing the wound with a layer of skin-compatible silicone adhesive (4). The wound dressing has c) a first protective layer (5) which covers a layer of skin-compatible silicone adhesive (4) on the side facing the wound. The wound dressing (1) has a second protective layer (6) which is located on the side of the backing material (3) facing away from the wound. Both the first and second protective layers (5, 6) protrude beyond the substrate material (3) on all sides. The first protective layer (5) has an opening which leaves the absorbent and rinsing part (2) uncovered. The first and second protective layers (5, 6) protect the skin-compatible silicone adhesive layer (4) from contact with liquid and water vapor. The package (10) contains a bag (11) having a first side (11a) of the bag made from a first liquid-tight material and a second side (11b) of the bag made from a second liquid-tight material connected to each other in a liquid-tight manner along the peripheral edge. The first side (11a) of the package has a central region and an edge region. The edge area surrounds the central area from all sides, and the central area has a cavity made with the possibility of placing the wound dressing (12) in the package (10) through its part (2) for absorption and washing. The method includes the following steps: a) providing a first side (11a) of a bag made from a first liquid-impermeable material, b) providing a cavity in the central region of the first side (11a) of the bag in a deep drawing process, c) filling the cavity with a certain amount of saline aqueous solution sufficient to completely fill the part (2) to absorb and wash the wound dressing (1), d) placing the wound dressing (1) on the first side (11a) of the package, while the wound dressing (1) is placed in the recess by means of its part (2) for soaking and rinsing, e) applying the second side (11b) of the bag made of the second liquid-impermeable material, f) sealing the liquid-tight first and second sides (11a, 11b) of the bag along the connection line surrounding the entire wound dressing (1) on all sides, and g) sterilization. The set contains the first wound dressing (1) and the second wound dressing (1). The first wound dressing (1) has a first part (2) for absorption and washing, characterized by a thickness and a first geometric shape. The second wound dressing (1) has a part (2) for absorption and washing, characterized by a thickness and a second geometric shape. The thickness of the first part (2) for absorption and washing is identical to the thickness of the second part (2) for absorption and washing. The first geometric shape is different from the second geometric shape.

EFFECT: protection of the area of the adhesive edge from contact with dirt, liquid or water vapor so that it is not subject to loss of stickiness before applying the wound dressing, and provision of the possibility of processing the part for absorption/rinsing with a saline aqueous solution in a manner advantageous from the point of view of production perspective.
