FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used for production of punching tools. Billet is places in female die cavity on sphere-dynamic fluctuating module supported by pusher. Said billet is strained by male die and said module, both being driven in steps in paths shaped to unidirectional logarithmic coils. Note here that said module displacement is performed with definite lag. Said lag t is defined from relationship τ=(0.5…0.6)T, where T is male die rotation duration per biller machining cycle. Angle of increase in male displacement path logarithmic coil an is related to said angle at by the following relationship: an=(0.3…0.4)at.

EFFECT: controlled plastic hardening of tool surface of complex geometry.
