FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to devices intended for surface hardening. Proposed mandrel comprises current-insulating bush, core and hardening tooth arranged at core front. Core rear part has stop. Thread is cut up to said stop for lock nut to be fitted thereon. Shaped hardening tooth comprises one working surface and three mounting faces with smaller contact area.
EFFECT: power saving, efficient heat removal.
