SUBSTANCE: patient monitoring network has a user input device (12b, 14b, 16b, 19b) through which medical experts create, modify or delete remarks relating to treatment and patient care, a display (12a, 14a, 16a, 19a) which displays remarks to the user, wireless sensors (10) which measure vital signs of the patient and have memory (24) for storing data, and wireless communication devices (12c, 14c, 16c, 19c) for sending the created remarks from the user input device to sensors (10) for storage in memory (24) and for sending the remarks to the display. The method describes operation of the patient monitoring network.
EFFECT: high reliability of transmitting information when transferring patient control by storing remarks on treatment and patient care in wireless sensors attached to the body of the patient.
