FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to such fields of medicine as obstetrics, gynecology and reproductology and is a method for prediction of pregnancy rate through in vitro fertilization with selective embryo transfer. Method is that that biochemical studies for determining the level of magnesium (Mg2+) and zinc (Zn2+) ions in the blood serum (BS), obtained from venous blood, which is sampled in fasting state before puncture of follicles on the day of puncture, and a follicular fluid (FF) containing an oocyte-cumulus complex, obtained by transvaginal puncture of follicles under the control of ultrasound, after which the values of the canonical linear discriminant function (CLDF) are calculated by the formula CLDF = 23.44 * Mg2+BS + 3.45 * Zn2+BS + 49.94 * Mg2+FF + 5.65 * Zn2+FF,and if a value of CLDF is ≥140.94, prognosis of pregnancy is favorable.
EFFECT: invention is simple and it allows to give recommendations on treatment of female infertility for pregnancy in the in vitro program.
