FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: female patient's blood hormones are measured; on the 2nd-3rd menstrual day preceding gonadotropic stimulation, blood serum is analysed to measure the anti-mullerian hormone (AMH); if the AMH level makes 0.1-0.5 ng/ml, the follicule-stimulating hormone (FSH) concentration expressed in mIU/ml is additionally measured; FSH/AMH ratio is calculated; if the derived ratio is 51 or more, the therapy is suggested to be corrected, and a therapeutic regimen using donated eggs is initiated in the patient.
EFFECT: method enables avoiding ineffective expensive high-dosage gonadotropic stimulation and specifies the objective indications for initiating the therapeutic regimen using donated eggs without compromising the patient's health.
