SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmic surgery. Method includes determination of interposition of eye structures Length of anterior-posterior eye axis, depth of anterior chamber and crystalline lens thickness are measured. Position of iridocrystalline diaphragm is estimated as the sum of anterior chamber depth and half of crystalline length thickness. Distance between posterior surface of iris and anterior surface of crystalline lens and length of adjoining of anterior iris surface to cornea endothelium are measured, presence of crystalline lens block is determined. Width of anterior chamber angle is determined. Obtained data are fixed If simultaneously fixed are length of anterior-posterior eye axis within the interval from 18.0 mm to 22.5 mm, distance from cornea endothelium to iridocrystalline diaphragm on optic eye axis within the interval from 4.1 to 4.75 mm, thickness of crystalline lens from 4.1 to 5.5 mm, adjoining of anterior iris surface to cornea endothelium from 1.1 to 1.55 mm long, and distance between posterior iris surface and anterior crystalline lens surface within the interval from 0.06 mm to 0.22 mm, width of anterior chamber angle within the range from 5 degrees to 15 degrees, conclusion about presence of indications for surgical operation of transparent crystalline lens ablation is made.
EFFECT: method increases accuracy of indications for ablation of transparent crystalline lens.
