FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: to assess the iridolenticular contact, biomicroscopy of the anterior segment of the eye is performed using a slit lamp and the position of the iridolenticular diaphragm and the state of the iris pigmental border are evaluated. If the iridolenticular diaphragm is not visually displaced anteriorly or posteriorly to the iris root, the iris pigmental border is well defined, then the physiological iridolenticular contact is determined. If the iridolenticular diaphragm is not visually displaced relative to the iris root, the destruction of the iris pigmental border is detected, then the pathological iridolenticular contact without displacement is determined. If the iridolenticular diaphragm arches towards the anterior or posterior chamber relative to the iris root, the destruction of the iris pigmental border with the dispersion of the pigment in the structures of the anterior chamber is noted, then the pathological iridolenticular contact with displacement is determined.
EFFECT: glaucoma hazard is determined.
