FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to morphological diagnostics. In order to predict postoperative period course in newborn babies and junior infants with necrotic enterocolitis histological tests are carried out. During operation tissues of small and/or large intestine are taken for morphological analysis during operation and presence of lymphangiectasias and lymphocyte stasis is analysed. In case of presence of lymphangiectasias in subserous layer of small intestine and/or lymphangiectasias in submucous layer of large intestine with presence of lymphocyte stasis in vessels of own plate of small intestine mucosa and/or in lymphangiectasias in submucous layer of large intestine, unfavourable course of postoperative period is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict postoperative period course in newborn babies and junior infants with necrotic enterocolitis.
