FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental medicine, and can be used for early selection of animal management tactics with intestinal obstruction in experiment. Intestinal obstruction is modeled by intestinal segment resection and fine-intestinal anastomosis. Macro- and microscopic examination of the anastomosis area is performed on 7th postoperative days. Number of Paneth cells in the resected fragment of the anastomosis is determined by counting them per 1000 cryptal epitheliocytes. If value is 4 or more, the intestinal wall healing and intestinal function restoration in the small-enteric anastomosis area is considered to be favorable, requiring no correction of the patient management approach. If values of up to 4 Paneth cells per 1000 cryptal epitheliocytes are presented to an animal, laboratory and instrumental studies are performed daily for timely diagnosing of postoperative complications for their timely treatment.
EFFECT: method provides early prediction of the postoperative course for selecting an animal management strategy by obtaining data on the quantitative content of Paneth cells in the zone of modeled obstruction.
