FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ophthalmology and is intended for early diagnostics of vitreoretinal complications in case of retinipathy of newborn babies. Amplitude and latency of "b"-wave of general electroretinogram, amplitude and inter-peak latency of oscillatory potentials are determined 1-2 times per year. In case of gradual decrease of amplitude and elongation of general ERG "b"-wave latency, decrease of amplitude and elongation of inter-peak latency of oscillatory potentials, early vitreoretinal complications are diagnosed.
EFFECT: method ensures objectivisation of early diagnostics of vitreoretinal complications in RP on the basis of determined electrophysiological parameters in case of impossibility of adequate estimation of eye bottom state, which will make it possible to perform preventive treatment and prevent irreversible loss of vision.
