FIELD: plastic processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a fibre laying machine for making fibrous unidirectional fabrics. Technical result is achieved in a fibre laying machine for making fibrous unidirectional fabrics, which includes a tool table for feeding the workpiece in the supply direction (x), laying head for application of fibres on workpiece and unit for fibre supply for supply of several fibre strands to laying head. At that, these several strands of fibres are combined in laying head into one fibrous web intended for application on workpiece. Laying head is movable relative to the fibre supply unit in the laying direction (y). At that, on the laying head there is a clamping device for detachable clamping of fiber strands. At that, laying of the fibrous web section on the workpiece is performed after strands of fibres by means of laying head have been stretched for one laying so that fibres are not stretched from the fibre supply unit during application of fibres onto the workpiece.

EFFECT: technical result is faster and uninterrupted fibre laying.
