SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vertical cylindrical reservoirs for storage oil and oil products, in which the pontoons are mounted to reduce losses of stored products from evaporation. The two deck pontoon of contact type of the reservoir for storage oil and oil products consists of the central and radial units comprising elements of framing in the form of channel brackets and inner elements of the frame on which the upper and lower decks of light-gage floor of pontoon are based. The framing elements have longitudinal grooves on the outer side of the walls of the channel brackets, in which the flexible sealant is placed. The connection of the central and radial units is made on bolts through the tightening plates welded to the channel brackets in the corners of the units and along the line of installation of the inner elements of the frame. In each pontoon unit there is an observation hatch, and under each observation hatch there is a drain plug.

EFFECT: increased maintainability of the pontoon with the ability to replace certain pontoon units or restoration of their tightness.
