FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: pellets formed by means of pelletisation of wet charge in pelletisers are strengthened by burning. After pellets are burned, they are treated in pulse magnetic field of rectangular shape, the number of pulses of which is 20 to 30. Besides, magnetic field intensity of each pulse is 400 to 480 oersted; duration of the pulse is chosen within 0.1 to 0.2 sec, and duration of pause is 1 to 2 sec.
EFFECT: invention allows increasing the strength of iron-ore pellets, decreasing the share of destructed particles at their transportation from a burning machine till loading to a blast furnace.
