FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of iron ore pellets. Wet charge is fed into pelletizer in two flows and skull is formed on bottom of razor. First charge flow is fed into compressed gas flow to form gas-moisture-charge jet. Pore-forming additives are added to gas-moisture-charge jet in the form of ground particles of vegetal origin or agricultural wastes. At the pelletiser bottom there formed is a zone occupied with charge and a zone free from charge. Charge is sputtered by a gas-moisture-charge jet oriented to scull in a zone free from charge to produce a dense layer of wet charge. Dense layer of wet charge is divided into nuclei. Carry out complete pelletization of nucleation centers with the second stream charge to the pellets. Pellets are dried and burnt. On the surface of pore-forming additives macro-defects are formed by their preliminary mixing with iron-containing scales of steel-wire production for 5–20 minutes with formation of mixture. Scale content in mixture is 20–200 % of weight of pore-forming additives. Mixture is fed into a gas-moisture-charge jet.
EFFECT: invention increases strength of burnt pellets, efficiency of pelletiser and iron content in pellets.
