FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: slider coupling includes two half-couplings with projections and an intermediate floating insert in the form of a parallelepiped. There are grooves on inner surface of projections of half-couplings, which are directed along longitudinal axis of the coupling. There are grooves on outer surfaces of the insert, which lie in the plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis of the coupling. Rollers are placed in the corresponding grooves of half-couplings and the insert during assembly at the points of their intersection. Surfaces of grooves are conjugated with surfaces of rollers.
EFFECT: reduction of loads on attached shafts and increasing the durability of slider coupling.
