FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: double-slider coupling comprises two half-couplings with grooves made at their flanges, and spacer. Two pairs of ledges are made at spacer outer cylindrical surface and arranged mutually perpendicular. Said ledges in every pair are opposed to displace in grooves of half-coupling flanges. Note here that said grooves feature rectangular shape and axial sizes exceeding those of spacer ledges.
EFFECT: compensation of angular and axial shifts of coupled shafts.
