FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: electro-optical converter has an evacuated envelope with an entrance window which is transparent in the infrared region, a photocathode which generates a stream of electrons, a pyroelectric target with through-openings divided into discrete elements for passage of the electron stream, a control electrode, a bearing dielectric film and an absorbing layer, having a pyroelectric layer, a device for recording a two-dimensional electronic image, a micro-channel plate - electron multiplier, primarily made from silicon. A pyroelectric crystal is placed directly on the micro-channel plate, has thickness of 0.1-5 mcm and is made from pyroelectric material which is deposited in a vacuum of 10-5-10-6 mm Hg at substrate temperature of 300-400°C. The pyroelectric crystal has dimensions of 15-25 mcm.
EFFECT: high resolution, which provides technological effectiveness, improved parameters, high reliability and high percentage output of non-defective devices.
