FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic engineering and particularly to electron-optical instruments converting thermal images in the middle and far infra-red spectrums into the images in visible range. The characteristics are improved as a result of the use of original image structure with discrete elements represented with plates mounted on supports, which are fixed to control conductive thin-filmed electrode. The target image converter layers are arranged in the following order starting from input window: discrete elements of pyroelectric and absorbing layer on the supports, solid control and conductive thin-filmed electrode with through slots, carrying dielectric film with through slots. The target structure allows for cardinal decreasing of the absorbed heat leak between both adjacent discrete elements and each discrete element and carrying dielectric film.
EFFECT: increase of sensitivity and resolving image power.
