FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum photoemission electronics and concerns a thermal object image receiver. Receiver has an input lens and an input window, a photocathode, a pyroelectric film, a reading electrode, a microchannel plate, a cathodoluminescent screen and a fibre-optic plate, which are located in a vacuum-tight housing. Input lens and the input window are made of CaF2, or BaF2, or MgF2, and the photocathode is made of high-purity germanium. Pyroelectric film with through holes is located either on the surface of the microchannel plate, upper electrode of which in this case is coated with dielectric with thickness of not more than 1 mcm, with through holes coaxial to holes of pyroelectric film and microchannel plate, or on oxidized surface of additionally introduced silicon membrane, having common coaxial through holes and having metallization on lower surface.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of registration and identification of thermal objects in connection with the area of their location.
