FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: wireless transfer/receiving unit (WTRU) is proposed, which comprises the following: a processor configured as capable of the following: initialisation of a bucket with markers into a non-zero value in reply to reset of a level of medium access control (MAC). Besides, reset of the MAC level is initiated by a command of service transfer, reset of the MAC level changes bucket size with a marker, and initialisation minimises segmentation of data sent by means of the WTRU, following reset of the MAC level, and generation of a report on status of markers.
EFFECT: minimised segmentation of transferred data.
