FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To remove the iris tumour, a self-sealing tunnel incision is made on the side opposite to the tumour and an auxiliary paracentesis through which the viscoelastic is introduced. Tumour is excised. Then the tumour is delivered through the tunnel incision. Tunnel incision is 2.2–2.8 mm long; the tumour is incised through a tunnel incision and a paracentesis with colic scissors and tweezers in a viscoelastic medium. Ophthalmosurgical cartridge used for implantation of an intraocular lens is introduced into the tunnel incision, through a lumen of which a portion of the iris with a tumour is removed by collet tweezers.
EFFECT: method provides avoiding excised tumour contact with corneal tissue when passing through a corneal tunnel.
