FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: intraocular lens fragmentation-explantation device comprises a body with a fixed blade. The body has a central hole, working and non-working portions. The body is straight or curved, and round-corner right-angled, ellipsoid or trapezoid in cross section. A side surface of the working portion of the body comprises 2 or 4 cuts which originate from a working end face of the body, are equidistant and represented by a portion of a triangle, a rectangle, an ellipse or a trapeze. Straight or curved, continuous, V- or U-shaped blades are fixed in the cuts. The cutting edges of the blades are directed inside the body at an angle 0-20°. The blades can be right-angled or triangular in a cross section. The body is provided with a holder.
