FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: trichloride monobutyltin (MBTC) is extracted from exhaust flow of chemical vapor-phase deposition of coating used for depositing tin oxide layer doped with fluorine on glass band. Vapor flow is condensed to temperature that allows increasing MBTC-to-water ratio in liquid condensate. Condensed liquid is kept in tank 134 intended for separation of condensed liquid into two layers. Said layers are removed from said separation tank. One of said layers of density equal to or exceeding 80% of MBTC density is subjected to vacuum distillation to produce MTBC of acceptable quality to be used in recovered MTBC for coat application process.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
