FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: steel contains the following component ratio, wt %: carbon 0.05 - 0.08, manganese 1.60 - 2.30, silicon 0.60 - 0.95, phosphorus not more than 0.015, sulphur not more than 0.010, chrome to less than 0.10, nickel to less than 0.10, copper not more than 0.15, calcium 0.0001 - 0.005, boron 0.0005 - 0.004, aluminium 0.010 - 0.030, nitrogen not more than 0.010, and iron is the rest. Ratio of boron content to the total content of carbon and nitrogen is 0.02 - 0.09.
EFFECT: providing the required ultimate strength, ductility and viscosity of a weld, as well as reduced strength and high ductility of rolled wire, which provides its processing without any preliminary and intermediate annealing.
