FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to cardiology, and can be used in clinical and experimental research for determining contour, dimensions and position of heart on fluorography images (FI). In accordance with the method registration of frontal and left side fluorography image and generation of heart computer model are carried out. Regions of heart are determined on frontal and left side fluorography images are determined. Decomposition of heart region image into constituent parts with its further reconstruction is performed. Heart boundaries, by which correction of computer model, are marked out. Decomposition of heart region image is carried out with application of decomposition into empiric modes. Reconstruction of heart region image is performed by summing up separate empiric modes. Marking out upper heart boundary on heart region image is performed by application of segmentation, texture analysis and method of active contours.
EFFECT: automation of the process of heart geometry determination, increase of accuracy of heart contour determination, increase of accuracy of cardio-vascular system state diagnostics.
