FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filtration/stabilisation. Proposed unit comprises first and second bins for keeping filtration agents, and third bin for keeping medium to be filtered. Outlet of first bin is connected with first filtration element inlet. Outlet of second bin is connected with second filtration element inlet. First valve connects outlet of first filtration element with inlet of second filtration element. Said valve comprises first and second valves to isolate first filtration element inlet from second filtration element inlet in case said first valve is closed and to communicate first filtration element outlet with that of second filtration element in case first valve is open. Third bin outlet is connected with first filtration element inlet and second filtration element inlet by second valve communicating third bin outlet via said second valve of the first set of valves. This allows third bin outlet to be isolated form second filtration element inlet in case second valve is closed and to make third bin outlet communicate with second filtration element inlet in case second valve is open. Proposed method includes selection between first and second modes.
EFFECT: higher process efficiency.
