FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of mortars. Concrete mixer comprises housing provided with drive and mounted on the bed. Said housing is shaped to torus to form multistart triangular helical surfaces and unidirectional multistart helical lines over its outer and inner edges. Note here that said housing is composed of sections, each being made of circular sector of strip bent in different sides along equally spaced apart straight flexure lines located at definite angle to strip edges to make different-sixe quadrangles with two parallel sides. Note also that said strip is coiled to ring with polyhedral surface while sections are interconnected by their free sides to make multistart triangular helical surfaces and unidirectional multistart helical lines over its outer and inner edges.

EFFECT: expanded operating performances, decreased overall dimensions.
