SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, namely, to winter tire tread pattern. Pneumatic ire has cutouts arranged across the tire on blocks surface in contact with road surface. One end of said cutouts opens into main longitudinal groove 21. Cutouts 4 are located at block periphery, their one part 41 opening into main longitudinal groove 21 and second part being located at block centre. First part of cutout 41 features linear shape if cross-section is seen in direction perpendicular to cutout length and comprises two opposed face walls 411 and 412 of said first part as well as ledge 413 and recess 414 located at face walls 411, 412 of said first part. Besides, second part 42 features shape curved across cutout shape if cross-section is seen in direction perpendicular to cutout length and comprises two opposed face walls 421, 422 of cutout second part.
EFFECT: improved performances on ice.
