FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to marking high-temperature transparent or semitransparent articles Said articles are transferred from moulding machine to marking module. Prior to marking every article, its position in, at least, direction (z) across article transfer direction is defined. Laser beam focusing plane is displaced in said direction (z) depending upon position of articles to be marked. Marking is applied on every article by laser beam.
EFFECT: efficient marking without damaging marked articles.
