FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: unit for marking transparent or semi-transparent objects comprises of a moulding machine having several cavities, an output conveyor for objects newly moulded by the machine, lined up and subsequently transported before the marking block. The marking block consists of a device for shaping laser beams in order to mark objects. The marking block is connected to the synchronization means with the moulding machine and is located as close as possible to the moulding machine exit along the conveyor. The marking block is designed to apply to each object a marking which provides for a unique identification of each object and includes at least one of the following information pieces: mould number and/or moulding cavity, to which the object belongs, manufacture date, object manufacture time expressed in hours, minutes and seconds.

EFFECT: reduction of rejects, improved marking accuracy and control.
