FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: HV insulator contains a vacuum arc suppression chamber equipped with a conductor bus, the chamber placed the housing and rigidly fixed therein; the chamber outside surface is made of an antitraking compound and has fins while the housing inside surface, the bearing one. Is made of an insulating material and contains a fixation zone represented by a flange in the lower part; according to the invention, it is proposed to have the vacuum arc suppression chamber fixed the whole of its length, the housing inside surface made of an antitraking compound and congruent to the arc suppression chamber outside surface, forming an integral whole with the latter; the housing inside surface is proposed to be made of an antitraking compound and forming an integral whole with the housing outside surface; the flange is to be made of an antitraking compound and equipped with dead-end holes intended to accommodate fixture elements, the internal surfaces of such holes to be made congruent with the fixture elements outside surfaces.
EFFECT: invention ensures high operational reliability due to the relatively small amount of structural assemblies and exclusion of heterogeneous insulation materials application.
