FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to high-voltage apparatus building industry. A high-voltage insulator includes a vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber equipped with a conductor line, arranged inside the housing and rigidly fixed in the housing throughout its length, the outer surface of which is made from anti-tracking compound and has finning, and inner surface of the housing is of a load-carrying type and it is made from anti-tracking compound too and is provided in its lower part with an attachment zone representing a flange forming a single whole with the inner and outer surfaces of the housing, which is made from anti-tracking compound and contains blind holes intended for arrangement of attachment elements, the outer surfaces of which are congruent to inner surfaces of blind holes, and an additional layer made from polymer material.
EFFECT: invention solves a task of creation of a high-voltage insulator of high operating reliability due to reduction of mechanical loads acting on a vacuum arc-extinguishing chamber on the side of the high-voltage insulator housing.
