FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum LED contains a bulb (with a current conductive layer and a fluorescent dye layer, that form the anode, applied on part of the bulb inside surface), cathode and output from the cathode and outputs from the anode to the power supply; the bulb represents a cylindrical glass flask with vacuum-sealed with glass covers at the ends; the inside surface of the cylindrical glass flask is completely covered with a current-conductive transparent layer and a fluorescent dye layer while the cathode is represented by a loop thread attached along the cylinder axis at three points: the ends of the loop thread are attached to the cathode outputs soldered into one of the glass covers while the middle of the cathode loop thread is attached to the other glass cover with the help of a spring fixture.
EFFECT: improvement of ergonomic and economic characteristics due to increase of luminous intensity and luminance uniformity; enhanced operational reliability and simplified design.
