FIELD: radiation sources.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the design of lamps for all of the listed wavelength ranges. A cylindrical cathodoluminescent radiation source comprises a cathode 1, a first anode 2, deposited in the form of a conductive layer on the surface of a cathodoluminescent phosphor 3, which in turn is deposited on the inner surface of a glass cylindrical flask 4, and a leg 5. The cathode 1 is made in the form of a first cathode filament 7 and a second cathode filament 8, between which and the first anode 2 there is a second anode 9, made in the form of a spiral.
EFFECT: increase in the rigidity of the structure and, as a consequence, an increase in the length of the lamp, as well as an increase in the brightness and uniformity of the glow.
