FIELD: disinfection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mercury-free cathodoluminescent lamps of a cylindrical type and can be used in medical institutions for surface disinfection, as well as in air purification systems. A cylindrical cathodoluminescent lamp includes a bulb 1, a cathodoluminescent phosphor 2, an anode 3, a modulator 6, a cathode 5, and a getter 7. Cathode 5 is a spiral of wire wound on a guide rod 4, and modulator 6 is located coaxially with cathode 5. The cathode 5 is made with taps 10 of the same resistance.
EFFECT: increasing in the power of visible and UV radiation due to an increase in the uniformity of electron radiation.
