FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmology. The method involves the exposure on an anterior segment. The exposure involves a static electric field of the intensity of 5 V/cm2. That is ensured by using plate electrodes. The electrodes are placed in front of an anterior surface of the eyeball. They are directed so that to provide an anode to be close to the wound and in the direction of a projection thereof. Duration of the exposure is 30 minutes. The exposure is daily until the wound is completely epithelised.
EFFECT: method provides faster corneal healing ensured by enhanced proliferative processes and defect epithelisation.
