FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: histochemical reaction is conducted at temperature 37°C on placental histological sections when introducing the herpes vesicle contents into an incubation solution, and cytophotometry follows. Thereafter, it shall be stated that provided herpes antibody titre in pregnant woman's blood is 1:3200, squalen dehydrogenase activity appears to be 3.01±0.28 standard units; provided herpes antibody titre is 1:6400, then activity is 2.65±0.25 standard units; herpes antibody titre being 1:12800 shows activity 2.31±0.3 standard units.
EFFECT: decreased squalen synthesis has an effect on cholesterol synthesis and formation of based placental steroid hormones that is as commonly known threatening formation of fetoplacental deficiency during pregnancy.
