FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used for estimation of content of androstenedione in placental plasmodiotrophoblast in pregnant women suffering aggravated cytomegaloviral infection in third trimester of gestation. For this purpose, peripheral blood anti-cytomegalovirus antibody titre is measured, conducting histochemical reaction on androstenedione dehydrogenase activity. If titre of class G antibodies to cytomegalovirus is 1:1600 and reduction of activity on androstenedione dehydrogenase to 32.1±2.88 standard units, reduction of content of androstenedione in patient is detected, negatively affecting development and maturation of foetal organs during gestation.
EFFECT: method enables to assess content of androstenedione in patient with easy implementation thereof.
