SUBSTANCE: planting unit comprises a seed box with a seeding conveyor mounted in the side wall of the seed box at an angle to the horizon greater than the natural angle of slope of the soaked seeds. The seeding conveyor consists of segment-shaped links connected by hinged joints. The links are made of wear resistant plastic material with a low coefficient of friction on the soaked seeds. On the outer surface of the links the cells are made in the form of recesses corresponding to shape and size of the seed. And the depth of the cell corresponds to the minimum size of seed on thickness. The cell length is greater than the maximum length of the seed. The cell width is greater than the maximum width of the seed. Over the cells the arcuate active guides are provided, which maximum height is equal to half of the maximum seed thickness. Also, the side walls of the seed box are tilted to the seeding conveyor, which angle is greater than the angle of friction of the soaked seeds on the walls of the seed box. The rear wall of the seed box is adjusted to the seeding conveyor behind the axial line of the conveyor tension block.
