FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Casing mould F with forming cavity, system of feed elements and gate pipe is turned in appropriate position and filled with fused metal. Fused metal flows by gravity feed via gate pipe. Note here that direction of metal main flow makes an angle with direction of gravity force application. Mould filled completely, gate pipe is engaged to seal the mould by plug 18 to be fitted in gate pipe injection port and to turn it into position for solidification. Fused metal M in the system of feed elements applies pressure to fused metal in forming cavity H. Mould F is locked in position for solidification unless metal M is hardened to allow extracting the casting.
EFFECT: uniform filling, ruled out defects in casting.
